Chiberta Golf Club
A few minutes walk away, the magnificent Chiberta golf course,”…undoubtedly one of the most beautiful Basque golf courses, it is a mixture of “links and in-land”, particularly varied. From the green of the 2nd, you will be at the seaside to finish in the middle of a splendid pine forest” The Chiberta golf course has since settled like a glacis between the ocean and the foliage of the Pignada forest.

Saint-Jean de Luz Golf Club
Created in 1928, the Golf de Chantaco is the cradle of the Lacoste Family. The marriage of Simone Thion de la Chaume, golf champion, with tennis champion René Lacoste gave a very media coverage to this golf course which was frequented by many celebrities.
The Chantago golf course runs its fairways at the foot of the Rhune, the mythical summit of the Atlantic Pyrenees, opened in 1907, the Golf de la Nivelle is built on an old quarry. Located in the commune of Ciboure, it is a hilly course. Its environment offers the beauty of the sea, the view of the port of Saint-Jean-de-Luz and the plenitude of the mountain.
Landes Golf club
Born in 1927, the Golf d’Hossegor is one of the great classics on the Basque coast with a layout that recalls traditional British inland courses, where the risks are mainly trees and bunkers. Built by Tom Morrison, this classic golf course with a superb clubhouse in old style, has the best golf restaurant in the region, a true jewel, the Seignosse course reveals a wonderful stroll of the senses through a still wild nature, the vastness of its hundred-year-old pines and the splendour of its cork oaks rising in a cathedral.
This legendary golf course, located in one of the most beautiful French golf regions, is undoubtedly an exceptional place, designed by the famous architect Robert Trent Jones Senior, the Moliets Golf Club is built on an exceptional natural site of approximately 84 hectares, is classified among the top ten French golf courses and is also one of the 25 most beautiful courses.
Golf of the Basque Country Spanish
The nearest, and best known, is the Real Golf Club of San Sebastian, in Fontarrabie. Built in 1910, it is located very close to the border, in the municipality of Fontarrabie, at the foot of the Jaizkibel. It is a magnificent course, covering 50 hectares, which has given Europe one of the greatest champions: José Maria Olazabal.
